South China Overwhelm Kwong
Championship
Nearer: One Point in Lead
Honours Brought
(By "SCRAMBLER")
A SODDEN GROUND AND A HIGH WIND were not conducive to good football, but South China and Kwong Wah made the most of it when they mot yesterday at Caroline Hill, the Hongkong team winning by five goals to one. South China are now one stop nearer to the Champion- ship, with one moro game to go, and one point ahead of thċir nearost rivals, Eastern.
South China were on the whole the better team, com- bining excellently in both defence and attack. They were
superior in both departments, and it must be said that Badminton
the losers played as well as was to be expected, but found that South China were just that shade faster than them.
Schedule Altered
The Senior Division of the Bad- proper minion League has been decided, the winners being University and the runners-up University "I". Univerally "A" were never once beaten in the competition, while the

Chan Tak-fal, Lee Wal-tong and Chow Man-chi gave The Kwong Wah's defenders plenty to do, and the crafty inside left delighted with some clever, foot work. Lee Wai- tont was very closely watched, and I was left again to his insidémen, Chan Tak-fai and Chow Mun-chi to do the foraging. Afl three had the wingers well supplied with first time
passes.

Of the halves only Wong Wah-gay appeared able to do anything, being often seen in the thick of the fray, and although Lee Shek-you was able to get past him on several instances, many of his runs down the side line were frustrated in the nick of time. Chung Kim-fni paid for too much at- tention to Lee Wai-tong, and was un- able to give his forwards much help, while Cheung Wing found that Lee Tak-kee was his masier.
After this South China Indulged in some clever football and had Kwong Wah's defenders on their toes. Chan Tak-fai put Lee Wal-tong through for the latter to score his first and the
