A SODDEN GROUND AND A HIGH WIND were not conducive to good football, but South China and Kwong Wah made the most of it when they mot yesterday at Caroline Hill, the Hongkong team winning by five goals to one. South China are now one stop nearer to the Champion- ship, with one moro game to go, and one point ahead of thċir nearost rivals, Eastern.
South China were on the whole the better team, com- bining excellently in both defence and attack. They were
superior in both departments, and it must be said that Badminton
