THE BEST FINANCIAL year in fifteen years was reported at the annual meeting of the Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry Company, Ltd., held this morning at the Company's offices, Kowloon. A net profit for 1939 of over $255,000 was recorded, and dividends of $2.90 is being paid on Pre- ferential shares, $2.40 on Old Ordinary shares, and $1.40 on New Ordinary shares.
