The unluckiest loser in the Colony tennis championships since C. A. L. Rumjahn and the late J. A. Cassumbhoy were beaten by the Rumjahn cousins in 1931, Willio Hung yesterday suffered the heart- breaking experience of being eliminated in the quarter-finals of the singles championship by H. D. Rumjahn after he had held altogether six match points, and had played the finest singles tennis of his

career.

Hung made the current champlon and although his valleying lost its appear almost second rate, so incisive mechanical consistency in accuracy, and clever was his tennis, but fate he was still able to win points from dealt him a cruel blow when in the the forecourt and to make Rumjahm eighth game of the final set. It is re- fiably learned that very good response has been received from the "C" and "D" classes of China ponies and the entries are to be divided into two sections at the discretion of the handicapper. However, an attractive program- me has been drawn up for the two days of racing and we may all look forward to a good Easter Carnival.
