Pensions For Ministers

London, Mar. 24. The text of the Ministers of the Crown Bill, now issued, shows that the Prime Minister's salary will be doubled, at £10,000, whilst all other Cabinet Ministers will receive £5,000 o year, except the Lord Chancellor, who at present gets £10,000, includ- ing £4,000 as Speaker of the House of Lords,

The Leader of the Opposition and ex-Premiers-will-rosolvo-£2,000 per

annum.

While all other salaries will be liable to Parliamentary discussion, the salaries of the Opposition leader and the pensions of former Prime Ministers will be paid from the Con- soldated Fund and will therefore not be raised in Parliament.

The Bill involves increased expen- diture totalling £37,000.-Reuter,
