Mr. W. J. Carrie, the Post Mns-
ter General, was the complainant in a summons against The Pure Cano Molasses Company, Ltd., be fore Mr. Schofield, at the Central Magistracy this morning.
He alleged defendants unlaw- fully posted a parcel addressed to Yuk Kee, Shanghai, containing samples of molasses which soiled and damaged other postal packets.
Mr. T. P. K. Kemble, appearing. for the defendant firm, asked for: a date be fixed for hearing.
The case will be heard at 11.30 am. on Saturday.
