great with Gooseberries
For a change try tinned gooseberries— they're great! But before you start on the gooseberries, smother. them with cream. Not a mere spoonful: take a great big helping. There's enough for everybody if you keep Nestle's Cream
in the store cupboard. Thick, rich, farm cream conveniently waiting in its tin until it is wanted. The Nestic process keeps it indefinitely in perfect condition and the three sizes of tins make it most economical to use,

your
In congratulating you upion success in its production, I wish to state that the picture discloses a most pathetic story, very finely told, acted and photogra- phed. The famine problem is very vividly portrayed and the flm should give the world a true glimpse of village life in the interior of China.
On the whole, my Associates and I consider this picture as the greatest triumph yet achieved by your Company and it is worthy of the attention of not only the Chineau people but all foreigners who would undoubtedly find interest from an insight of the Hfe and existence of villagers in China.
With best wishes to you and your Company for every success in the exploita tion of the above Alm
Yours very truly,

LETTER FROM
THE AMERICAN TRADE COMMISSIONER.
Through your courtesy, Mrs. Barringer and I hnd the great pleasure of seeing a pre-view of your picture "Humanity" on Saturday, April 23rd.
We both greatly enjoyed the picture, As the writer spent two years in European Russia is charge of American relief operations during the great Russian famine of those years, I can vouch for the excellent "shota" that you have show- ing real famine conditions. I think that this is a splendid picture, and, as you say, should appeal to both European and Chiness audiences. The close-ups were particularly good, and although in spots the photography might have been im proved upon, on the whole I consider it a very high grade production,
Thanking you for having remembered me when you showed this picture.
I ain,
Very truly yours.
