A very keen and interesting maten was witnessed here yesterday after noon when H.M.S. Tarantula defeated H.MLS. Moth by fwo goals to one in the Shameen Football League. The winners were playing their

The Lai Wah Cup.

The thrilling ups and downs of the Interport Cricket Festival have been engaging my attention, and I am afraid I am not very well acquainted with arrangements for the Lai Wah Cup match to- morrow. No teams appear to have been published, but it is to be taken for granted that the Navy will rely on their league team, and that the Somersets and Borderers will provide a large proportion of the Army eleven.

Whatever combination ishit upon by the Army selectors, it should be good enough to defeat the Navy on current form, though the Senior Service will put up a big fight.

Chinese Favoured.

South China and Chinese Athletic should both improve their league position to-mororw, at the expense of St. Joseph's and the Police respectively. The keenest game will be at the Stadium where! the Police, undoubtedly improved as the result of a little roshuffling.
