Tajima Maru have full cargosa booked for their sailings next month. When the cargo market was depressed, the Nippon Yusen Kaisha not only maintained re- gular service but added to it so as to hold their reputation of always having B 'definite schedule. These ships are taking some cotton from Puget Sound, in addition to the usual run of cargo. Emphasizing the fact that the Nippon Yusen Kaisha stoamers plying between Puget Sound and Far Eastern ports will carry capacity cargoes from Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., during the next few months, M. Watanabe, declared that the shipping situation, according to is more present indications, promising than it has been for Mr. or eight months. Watanabe stated that the Katori
left which
the Maru, Sound this week for Yokohama and other Oriental ports, carried almost a full cargo. Further, he said, the N. Y. K. carriera Tokushima Maru, the Kashima Maru, and the Tajima Maru, will all carry capacity loads when they are dispatched from Seattle to Japan and China, "Seattle is the Pacific Coast terminus of our most important Mr. trade route," explained Watanaby.
