AMERICA'S FIRST CUP WINNER.

The schooner yacht "America" which took the America's Cap to the United States from England in 1851, winning the trophy in a race with fourteen British yachts around the Isle of Wight on August 22 of that year. The cup has remained in the United States ever since.
