President and Madame Poincare drove to the Guildhall recently, where they were entertained by the Lord Mayor and Corporation of London. On this occasion the President was presented with a gold casket, as shown above. On his left are Madame Poincare. Prince Albert and Prince and Princess Arthur of Connaught.

Three commanding figures representing the United States in the Far East are here shown together on the occasion of a recent ceremonial in Vladivostok. They are! General W.S. Graves, commander of the American forces in Siberia (right figure at salute), Mr. Roland Morris, Ambassador to Japan the shorter of two civilians), and Mr. John F. Stevens, head of the Inter-Allied Railway Commission in Siberia, General Graves hse just been presented with a service medal through Ambassador Morris who has returned from a special investigation of the Russian situation.
