JAPAN'S CURIO TRAGE. London. Nov. 20.-Far Eastern trade matters in the House are almost entirely confined to criticism of importations from Japan, though we notice the supply of these is falling of. The Board of Restricted Imports have tempo..rily relaxed the prohibition on shipments of art curios from Japan, and these are new pouring in. though after July there is a likelihood of a heavy duty being imposed on these articles. At any rate, there is a

good deal of antagonism to manu factured imports produced by cheap labour. and China as com pared with Japan is, therefore, in a strong position as exporting mainly raw material for which there is and will continue to be, an unlimited demand.
