Remarkable Rescue In Red Sea.
The following abstract of the log of the "Pearlmoor" given particulars of a remarkable res ous of sailor at sea. The man in question was landed at Port Said, and rejoined his own ship:-
Abstract of log per "Pearl- moor" from Karrachee to Fort Baid for orders, Tuesday, 13th August, 1912-Lat, 19-26 N. Long, 30-10 E. Red Sea, 1a.m. Fresh W.N.W. wind, mad, ses, cloudy. 1-35 am. Ories weTO heard off the port bow, coming from the water, apparently some one shouting for help. The helm was put hard a-starboard, and a hand sent aft to look-out. The engines stopped and reversed asteru. The port bost was chear- ed away and lowered in the water. The steamer was manoeuvred to su elose to the spot whera the aries were heard. At 1.45 6. a man was swimming close to the steamer, a line was thrown
