The bride, who was given away by her father, looked excee lingly well in a beautiful wedding gown of tvorywbite satin, made in Directoire style, with a long train, and a very graceful skirt, opening on, the left side, to show an underskirt of fice white net, tucked THE COMPRADORE DEPARTMENT, borizontally. Mrs. Edward Sassoon held a reception at 46 Grosvenor place, alter, the ceremony. The boneymoon will be spent in Switzerland and Austria. The bride's travelling gown, was of champagne-coloured silk voile, made in the form of a princess robe, with a chemisette and sleeves of closely tucked net matching exactly the shade of the voile. The chemisette was outlined back and front with a band of filet er, embroidered with raised silk

roses, the net and the flowers being in the same abade of champagne-colour as the voile. This embroidery was continued down the front of the gows, in the form of a graduated panel, widening as it reached the feet. Folds of soft slik werd brought from under this panel, just above the line of the waist, and carried high. at the back, whence they fell in long aash ends over the skirt. With this gown the bride wore a straw hatto maleb, trimmed with tulle and champagne-coloured silk roses,
