The police authorities have issued a notifi- cation prohibiting home riding in the streets of the city, as many serious accidents have occurred owing to narrowness of the streets in the city. Persons found horse riding through the streets will be arrested and be heavily fined. When Viceroy Shun' was in office here, the last time, he also ordered the pro- hibition of horse riding in the public streets.
