Departmental Football Team won the runners-up trophy in the annual Inter-Departmental Football Tournament under the auspices of the Chinese Civil Servants' Association. Social gatherings in the form of a launch picnic and a bridge drive were also held.
119. The second presentation of annual grants of $50 each from the Morrison Scholarship Fund to 10 beneficiaries, being children of junior staff of this department, was held on 31st March, 1966 at the Resettle- ment Department Headquarters.
120. The Staff Welfare Committee, under the chairmanship of the Assistant Commissioner, Estates, and comprising representatives from each grade or groups of grades in the department, met at quarterly intervals to discuss matters relating to conditions of service, uniforms, working equipment, etc.
