ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

122. I am very grateful for the help, guidance and advice received from the Urban Council, its Select Committees, and from various Government departments, particularly the Public Works Department, whose co-operation and assistance have again been invaluable. I also wish to pay a tribute to the officers of the Resettlement Department who have conscientiously carried out their sometimes thankless duties in conditions which are often difficult and occasionally dangerous.
