A further contract in the sum of approximately $102,000.00, for stabilising works to a hillside behind Shiu Fai Terrace, Hong Kong, was also let and this work is also progressing satisfactorily.

5.25 The Senior Building Surveyor seconded from the Buildings Ordinance Office to the Crown Lands & Survey Office continued to be responsible for the maintenance of buildings under the control of the Property Management Division of the Crown Lands & Survey Office using the Buildings Ordinance Office Works Contract. Other responsibilities of this post include the clearance of Crown Land using the Crown Land Contract and arranging for the demolition of buildings under the control of the Property Management Division of Crown Lands & Survey Office but outside the Pilot Scheme Area.
