HEALTH
63. The number of working days lost during the year owing to sickness was 19,492. Those lost by officers totalled 2,168 and by other ranks 17,324. The number of persons suffering from tuberculosis accounted for 2,456 of total days lost. This figure shows a further decrease in the incidence of this disease among police personnel. The figure for last year was 3,058 man-days lost.
