To deal with those vehicles that were

produced before the new Ozone-friendly

refrigerant became

available,

the

Company has set up a refrigerant

recycling plant in each of its major

depots. The older refrigerant will

therefore be safely recycled until such

time as the Company is able to convert

all the older buses to the

specification.

During 1993, the management of the

Company determined that the Company

would specify and purchase power units

to the latest European specifications for

all new bus purchases. These power units

would greatly reduce exhaust emissions

of buses. In October 1993, the Company

also launched

advanced

an

environmental protection bus which

included, amongst its features, a

significantly decreased noise level. A

close watch is being kept on this

experimental bus to see how it performs

on a long term basis.

凍劑將會安全循環使用,直至本公司將

試將一輛新型環保巴士投入服務,該輛
