Art. 601. Articles of Iron and Steel, semi-fine (Conventional Tariff 25 lei per 100 kilog.). To be united under one Article comprising both classifi-

cations.

Art. 610. Cutlery, common, of Iron or Steel, common Scissors, with settings of wood, boue, horn, or other common materials.

ARTICLE IV.

The duties ad valorem provided for in the present Treaty shall be calculated on the value at the place of export, with the addition of the cost of transport, insurance and commission necessary for the importation into the territories of the other Power as far as the port of discharge or place of entry.

The importer shall annex to his written decla- ration, stating the value and description of the goods imported, an invoice indicating the actual price emanating from the maker or seller. If the Custom-house authorities, within twenty-four hours after the declaration is presented, shall be of opinion that the declared value is insufficient, they shall be at liberty to take the goods on paying to the importer the price declared, with an addition of 10

per cent.

This payment shall be made within the fifteen days following the declaration, and any duty which may have been levied upon such goods shall be at the same time repaid.

ARTICLE V.

British subjects in Roumania and Roumanian subjects in the territories (including the Colonies and foreign Possessions) of Her Britannic Majesty shall enjoy the same rights as natives, or as are now granted, or may hereafter be granted, to the subjects of any third country the most favoured in this respect, in everything relating to property in trade marks and trade labels or tickets, as well as in patterns and designs for manufacturers.

It is understood that any person who desires to obtain the aforesaid protection must fulfil the for- malities required by the laws of the respective

countries.

ARTICLE VI

Every reduction in the Tariff of Import and Export Duties, as well as every favour or immu- nity which may be granted hereafter by one of the Contracting Partics to the subjects, commerce, or navigation of a third Power, shall be granted simultaneously and unconditionally to the other.

Art. 610. Cutităria ordinară de fer s'aŭ de otel, fórfice ordinare, montate pe lemn, os, corn s'aŭ alte materiale ordinare.

ARTICOLUL IV.

Drepturile ad valorem, în casurile unde presentul Tractat le prevede, vor fi calculate după valóres la locul de provenenta obiectului importat, mărite cu cheltuelile de transport, de asigurare si de comi- sion necesariu pentru importatiunea într'unul din ambele Teritorii pêně la portul de descărcare séŭ locul de entrare.

Importatorele trebue a alătura pe lîngă decla- ratiunea sa scrisă, constatând valórea si specificarea mărfei importate, o factură indicând pretul real si emanând de la frbricantu. séu vêndător. Daca Vama, în cele 24 ore dupe care declaratiunea 'ī va fi presentată, consideră că valórea declarată este nesuficientă, dênsa va avea dreptul d'a retine măr- furile, plătind importatorului pretul declarat de el, mărit cu 10%.

Acéstă plată trebue efectuată în cele cinci-spre- dece dile cari aŭ urmat declaratiunei, si drepturile, dacă aceste au fost percepute, vor fi restituite in acelasi timp.

ARTICOLUL V.

Supusií Britaniei în România, si supusii Români in Teritoriile (coprindêndu-se Coloniile si Posesiu- nile străine) Majestătii Séle Britanice, se vor bucura de aceleasi drepturi ca si nationali, séu care sunt acordate acum séu vor putea fi acordate în viitor supusilor unci a treia těri cea mai favo- risată în acéstă privintă, în tot ceea ce priveste mărcile, desemnurile si etiquetele de fabrică séu de comerciй, precum si modelurile si probele pentru fabricanti.

Fie bine înteles că acei carì vor voi a profita de disa protectiune vor trebui să îndeplinéscă forma- litătile cerute de legile těrilor respective.

ARTICOLUL VI.

Ori-ce reductiune în Tarifele drepturilor la Im- portatiune séŭ la Exportatiune, precum si ori-ce favóre séu imunitate, pe care una din Inaltele Părti Contractante ar puté o acorda supusilor séu comerciului séu navigatiunei unei a treia Puteri. va fi întinsă imediat si fără conditiune ccleï-l-plte.
