hawk in the harbour of Hong Kong subject to the conditions of a hawkers (steamship) licence until the 30th September, 19 ......and for the further periods endorsed hereon if renewal approved.
Fee $24.00 per annum.
(g) by the insertion of the following headings and conditions in the Second
Schedule:
CONDITIONS OF HAWKERS (NATIVE CRAFT) LICENCE.
1. The licence is not transferable.
2. The licence is subject to all enactments in force for the time being relating to hawkers in the harbour. Conviction for any offence renders the licence liable to forfeiture if the Captain Superintendent of Police thinks fit.
3. The licence fee shall be $4.00 per annum payable in advance on the
1st October.
4. Every licensee shall produce two copies of his photograph, one to be deposited in the Licensing Office, and the other to be affixed to his licence.
5. Licensees are only allowed to hawk on board native sailing craft. Licensees are not permitted to board any steamship or motorship for the purpose of hawking.
6. No person shall hawk any wares between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. except that, in the junk anchorages, wares may be hawked up to 11 p.m.
