12. Luzon.-West coast-Salomague Harbor, buoy out of position.-The red nun buoy, second class, marking the eastern edge of the reef in Salomague Harbor, has been reported adrift. It will be replaced to its former position as soon as possible.

13. Luzon.-West coast-Manila Bay-Proposed change in San Nicolas Shoal light.- It is the intention to change the fixed white sixth-order light at San Nicolas Shoal, Manila Bay, to a lightning flashing white light in the near future. The new light will show a flash of one-half second followed by an eclipse of four and one-half seconds, every five seconds.

14. Luzon. -South coast-Port Laguimanoc-Uncharted shoal.-The master of steam- ship Bustamante reported, under date of August 25th, 1913, the existence of a hitherto uncharted shoal, covered by about 12 feet of water in the entrance to Port Laguimanoc on the following bearings :

High I. 22° (N. 21° E. mag.).

S. E. point of Pagbilao Chico I. 234° (S. 53° W. mag.).

Point near town of Pagbilao 2° (N. 1° E. mag.).

Approximate position: Lat. 13° 53′ 33′′, long. 121° 48′ 20′′.

15. Negros.-East coast-Refugio Island-Light established.-Referring to paragraph 7 of Notice to Mariners No. 2 of 1913, further information is given that an occulting white light every ten seconds, thus-light, 7 seconds; eclipse, 3 seconds-has been established near the north end of Refugio Island. The light is exhibited from a white steel tower 55 feet from the ground, 101, feet above high water, and is visible a distance of 15 miles.

16. Negros.-East coast-San Carlos-Light established.-A fixed red lens lantern light was established July 15th, 1913, at San Carlos, Negros Occidental. It is exhibited 27 feet above high water from a white concrete beacon about 50 yards north of the inner end of the wharf, and is visible 10 miles over an arc of 170° from 225° (S. 44° W. mag.) to 35° (N. 34° E. mag.) except where it is obscured by Refugio Island.

17. Basilan. -Northwest coast-Proposed light on Malamaui Island.-A fixed red light is to be established in the near future on the eastern point of Malamaui Island.
