(8) In regulation 10, for "a

'a fee of $2 a month' substitute "a fee proportionate to the fee mentioned in regulation 9".

(9) In regulation 21 (which deals with reckless, negligent and dangerous driving), for "A driver shall not", in the first line, substitute "A driver shall drive with due caution; he shall not".

(10) Regulation 30 is rescinded and the following regulation is substituted therefor :---

30. A driver shall pass on the right side of any vehicle, other than a tramcar, which he overtakes. A driver may pass on either side of a tramcar whether moving or station- ary, which he overtakes, provided that the road is clear ahead, and that he exercises due caution in respect of persons boarding or alighting from any stationary tramcar.

(11) In regulation 36, after the word 'driver', in the first lines of the first and second paragraphs, insert “and a conductor".

(12) To regulation 36 add the following paragraph,-

Before a conductor's licence is issued to a conducter he shall pass such tests in knowledge of roads and buildings as the Inspector General of Police may require.

(13) In the enumeration of requirements in regulation 37, item or paragraph (7) (relating to the driver of a plying motor omnibus), insert the following,-

(a)1 Keep illuminated at night the signboard on the front and rear of his vehicle;

(h) Stop his vehicle at all stops marked "All buses stop here" to allow passengers or intending passengers to alight from or to board his vehicle";

(Stop his vehicle, if signalled to do so, at all places marked "Buses stop here if required", to allow passengers to alight and, unless the "Bus full' signboard is exhibited on his vehicle, to allow intending passengers to board such vehicle.

(14) In regulation 39, item or paragraph (2) (relating to the badge of a bus conductor), delete "brass".

(15) In the enumeration of requirements in regulation 39 (relating to the conductor of a motor omnibus), add the following item or paragraph,-

(11) On request, signal the driver to stop at any recognised stopping place.

(16) Regulation 56 is rescinded and the following regula · ́ tion is substituted therefor,-

56. The driver of a motor vehicle, other than an owner driver, shall report his employment when first employed, also any cessation or change of employment. Such reports shall be made at the Central Police Station within forty-eight hours of the occasion therefor: At the time of making any such report the driver shall produce for inspection his driver's licence.

(17) In regulation 58 (relating to the badge of a driver of a public motor vehicle), delete "brass".
