ORDINANCE No. 40 of 1912. (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC REGULATION).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Vehicles and Traffic Regulation Ordinance, 1912, the Governor in Council further amends the regulations made under the said Ordinance and published as Notification No. 50 in the Gazette of the 29th January, 1932, as follows:-
Amendments.
(1) In Part 1 (Interpretation), items or paragraphs (e) and (h), ("Motor bievele" and "Motor tricycle"), for "three hundred-weight" substitute "six hundred-weight".
(2) In Part I, delete item or paragraph (4) and substitute the following.-
(9) "Trailer" includes any vehicle designed to be
drawn or
or propelled by another vehicle.
(3) In Part I, item or paragraph (s) ("Unladen weight" or "weight unladen'), for "exclusive of the weight of any load or of any water, fuel, or accumulators used for the purpose of propulsion" substitute "exclusive of the weight of any load but inclusive of any water, fuel, or accumulators normally used for the purpose of propulsion".
(4) In the table of driver's licence fees in regulation 3 (1), insert the following item,—
Tricycle
| 30 cents | 1st January.
(5) Next after regulation 3 insert the following regula- tion,-
3A.--(1) A fee of $5 is required for an Inter- national driving permit.
(2) A fee of $10 is required for an International certificate for a motor ear.
(3) A fee of $5 is required for an International certificate for a motor cycle.
(4) The date for renewal of permits and certificates referred to in this regulation shall be 1st July.
(6) In the table of vehicle licence fees in regulation 6, insert the following item,--
(0) Tricycles ......

(7) In regulation 9 (which deals with a trader's licence in respect of a motor vehicle used solely for demonstration purposes), substitute $180 for $120.
