Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Interpretation. Short title. (Further Amendment) Ordinauce, 1909.

3. Section 2 of the Interpretation Amendment Or- Words dinance 1908 is hereby amended by the insertion in line 2 thereof of the words and figures The Interpretation Ordinance Ordinance 1897 in place and instead of the words and 1897 figures Ordinance No. 8 of 1897 ”.

4. Sections 3 and 4 of the Interpretation Amendment Ordinance 1908 are hereby amended by the substitution of the words "The Interpretation Ordinance 1897" for the words "Ordinance No, 8 of 1897 " wherever the latter words appear.
