Fees for visas should be charged as if the visa were for admission to the United Kingdom (see Visa DSP Volume 1 Part 1 Chapter 3 for details), plus Foes 20(a) or 20(b) if appropriate (see below).

All fees collected in respect of visas for Dependent Territories or Commonwealth countries should be credited in the Post Account to the relevant CFER sub-heads, and not to the Government of the territory or country concerned.

Fee 20(a) is charged only when the visa is for an independent Commonwealth country. Fee 20(b) is charged only when a visa application is for a Dependent Territory and is referred.

It is important that all Posts submit promptly the quarterly returns of visas issued and foes charged for Commonwealth countries and dependent territories as required in Visa DSP Volume 1 Part 1.
