REGISTRATION OF THE HONG KONG/SRI LANKA AIR SERVICES AGREEMENT AT THE UNITED NATIONS

1. We are required by agreement with the Chinese Government to register this new Air Services Agreement on behalf of Hong Kong at the UN.

This is an exercise which we have already completed in respect of eg the Hong Kong/Switzerland Air Services Agreement.

2.

I attach a copy of a minute dated 2 September 1987 from

Miss Millington, NTD, setting out the procedure for producing a certificated copy of the Agreement.

3.

I should be grateful if you could produce a certified copies of the new Air Services Agreement which we will then forward to UKMIS New York for registration. I enclose a Hong Kong

Government published version of the Agreement, and a draft text for the covering certificate.
