REGISTRATION OF THE HONG KONG/SRI LANKA AIR SERVICES AGREEMENT AT THE UN

1. Thank you for your letter of 10 March confirming

transmission of the Hong Kong/Switzerland ASA.

2. Hong Kong signed an ASA with Sri Lanka in Hong Kong on 24 February. Article 19 of the Agreement provides that it shall enter into force on the date of signature. We have undertaken to register it on Hong Kong's behalf of the UN.

3. I enclose accordingly 3 copies of the ASA (one certified, 2 uncertified) together with a covering third person note to the Secretary-General. These are modelled on the precedent of the Hong Kong/Switzerland ASA and have been cleared with our legal I should be grateful if you would make the necessary arrangements, and let me know when the registration has been completed.
