Dear Mr Secretary,

Referring to your kind letter of 27 January 1993 concerning the Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement between Denmark and Hong Kong and the enclosed remarks to the Danish language text, I am pleased to inform you about the reply from the Danish authorities as follows:

Article 1 (1) and elsewhere

It is agreed to replace "territorium" with "områ- de" in the articles mentioned.

Article 1 (1) (b)

The word should be "vidt".

Article 1 (3) (b) and 5 (2)

The Danish side suggests the following wording for article 1 (3) (b):

"aktier, anparter og andele, obligationer og gældsbreve udstedt af selskaber, og deraf afledede rettigheder samt andre former for kapitaldeltagel- se i selskaber, herunder joint-ventures"

in order to ensure the broadest coverage.

In Article 5 (2) the Danish side suggests to in- sert "eller andele" in the third line after the word "aktier".
