We have

Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (IPPA)

just received the Danies' response to our comments on the Danish text of the HK/Denmark IPPA. They have accepted some of our suggestions (which were based on the advice of the Translation Branch of your department vide your fax of 3 December 1992) and raised counter proposals for others (the letter from Danish CG is attached).

would be grateful if you could pass this letter and its attachment to the relevant officer in your Translation Branch.

I would need their comments on the Danies' proposals as regards Articles 1(3)(b) and 5(2), 1 (3) (e), 4(1) and (2), 5(1) and 8(2), preferrably their comments could reach us within 3 weeks' time. Thank you very much. Bills can be addressed to the undersigned for

settlement.
