(i) each functional constituency shall

return the number of elected Members
specified in the third column of that
Part;
the elector voting in respect of that constituency shall have a single vote; the single vote shall be transferable
amongst the candidates, the elector
marking his preference or preferences on his ballot paper against one or
more of those candidates in descending
order;
subject to subparagraph (v), the
candidate to be elected shall obtain
an absolute majority of the votes at
any stage of the count; and
(v) where no candidate obtains an absolute
majority of the votes at any
particular stage of the count, the
candidate or candidates with the least
number of votes shall be eliminated at
that stage and his or their votes
shall be transferred to the candidates
then remaining in accordance with the next available preferences marked on the ballot papers until one candidate obtains an absolute majority over the other candidate or candidates then
remaining; and
