From 1966 to 1976, Mr Goodstadt worked as Deputy Editor of the Far Eastern Economic Review. His main responsibilities were coverage of economic and political events in Hong Kong and China. From 1976 to 1989, he was a consultant economist for a number of leading financial institutions.
