Deputy Commander/Chief of staff British Forces Hong Kong
Brigadier C.J.A. Razerbeck CB
Commissioned in 1965 into the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment serving in a variety of troop leader appointments from 1965
1970 in both UK and BAOR. In 1970 he joined the Parachute Squadron Royal Armoured corps as the Air Adjutant/Operations Officer serving in UK with tours in
Northern Ireland. He was GSO 3 Ops 20th Armoured Brigade from 1972 until attending the Army staff course at Camberley in 1975. After Camberley he was appointed DAA & QMG 12 Mechanised Brigade when restructuring as a Task Force.
From 1978 until 1980 he commanded a Chieftain squadron with 4th Royal Tank Regiment in Munster. Subsequent to this he was appointed to MOD as DAAG (0) AG 1982 he became a member of the Directing Staff of the staff College where he remained until assuming command the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment in December 1984 in Fallingbostel.
