The Policy Group will :-

decide on the policy to be adopted towards the vessels and its migrants (following discussion with the

Governor and after consultation with the FCO as necessary) and confirm whether the contingency plan which follows

should be brought into operation;

be responsible for deciding the policy to be adopted in any approach to UNHCR or foreign governments;
