The Policy Group will :-
decide on the policy to be adopted towards the vessels and its migrants (following discussion with the
Governor and after consultation with the FCO as necessary) and confirm whether the contingency plan which follows
should be brought into operation;
be responsible for deciding the policy to be adopted in any approach to UNHCR or foreign governments;
in

consultation with Director Information Services, decide on the policy to be adopted over publicity;
allocate resources to Kinbuck following consultation with the resource branches, Government departments, HM Forces etc;
