The officer-in-charge, Kowloon Kitchen is responsible for :
(a)

(c)
ensuring that, at all times, the Kitchen carries maximum stocks of rice and other relief articles and that they are in good condition and easily accessible;
arranging for the delivery and distribution to be taken on by CAS personnel;
deploying Kitchen staff and employing casual labourers with the consent of District Social Welfare Officer (Tuen Mun)/Senior Social Security Officer (New Territories West) when required.
Foodstuffs stored in the Kitchen, at any one time, are sufficient to produce 8,000 meals.
5.
A radio-telephone outstation is located in the Kitchen to facilitate communication with the GSECC.
