Within the existing ceiling of 50 points, there should be

no caps on

on the special circumstances points to be allocated for occupation-related awards, voluntary service and acts of bravery or gallantry. (para. 38)

The rate at which points are allocated under public or community service should be increased by 50%, and the cap on component attributes under this head in the DSC should be lifted. (para. 40)
