Ι am writing to see if you have got any plans to the provisions of the Design Right (Semiconductor Topographies) (Amendment) Regulations 1989.

For the past several months, I have been very busy preparing draft drafting instructions to enact a sui generis intellectual property law in Hong Kong, concerning the protection of layout-designs (topographies) of integrated circuits. I have just completed the first draft and we hope to introduce the legislation in Hong Kong in Spring 1993.
