5. CO-OPERATION ON STANDARDS
(a) Objectives
To reduce disparities in the fields of metrology, standardization and certification in order to encourage the use of systems compatible with international, especially European, usage.

Promotion of ongoing regular contacts between specialized
institutions.
Meetings designed to ensure that standards do not become unnecessary
