the extent to which the applicant's emigration would undermine confidence in the economy of Hong Kong;

(e) whether there are special circumstances to be taken account of;

(f)

whether the applicant has connections with the United Kingdom; and

(g) whether the applicant has performed any public or community

service.

The Governor has invited the 14 applicants in the second batch to apply in the EC having regard to these matters. All of them are identified by the Task Group on Entrepreneur Class as 'definitely acceptable' cases. Of the 14 applicants, 3 of them have applied in Occupational Group 1 (OG 1) of the General Occupational Class (GOC) before they receive the Governor's invitation to apply in the EC.
