The 14 applicants in this batch, with 9 spouses and 2 minor children included, have gone through steps (a) to (c) outlined above. Personality checks and verification interviews have not revealed any All adverse information on any of these applicants or their dependants. the 14 principal applicants and their 11 dependants appear to be suitable for recommendation by the Governor to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens pursuant to Section 1(1) and Schedule 2 respectively of the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.

Members may wish to note that as regards the 3 invitees who have applied in OG 1, the procedures endorsed by the Steering Committee is that their places will be counted against OG 1 quota.
