Expressway is being designed in detail. The first

contract for the Tai Ho Section is scheduled to start in

early 1992.

Lantau Fixed Crossing

10. The Lantau Fixed Crossing will be a road and rail

crossing from Lantau Island across Ma Wan to Tsing Yi. It will consist of two large high-level bridge structures

Tsing Ma Bridge and Кар Shui Mun Bridge linked by a

high-level viaduct across Ma Wan Island.

structure will carry an upper six-lane expressway and a lower deck with a high-speed rail link and two lanes for
