staging a range of exhibitions to

TDC OPENS NEW DESIGN GALLERY
The TDC added a new dimension to its service for Hong Kong's manufacturing community in March, 1991, by opening a special design facility in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Known as the Design Gallery, it aims to promote excellence in product design throughout the spectrum of local industries.
In the face of growing expectations in the international marketplace for even higher standards of design and quality, coupled with increased competition from other Asian countries for OEM business, Hong Kong's manufacturing industries are recognising the importance of raising creative capabilities and developing their own product lines. This is widely acknowledged as necessary to maintain Hong Kong's competitive edge in world markets.
The new Gallery functions as a showcase for outstanding local products and launch venue for new ones. The TDC plans to raise design awareness and knowledge by hosting both
