At a meeting on 10.9.91, staff decided to scale down their actions on WSD's agreement to consider some of their requests. At an EGM on 27.9.91 the staff association resolved to resume normal duties with effect from 1 October, and to review in three months in the light of the management's response to their requests.

Officer Grade Review
To review the duties and
structure of the Executive Officer grade
CSB has replied to the ASD Quantity Surveyor's Association's request for a separate salary structure review to recognize the pay relativity between the Quantity Surveyors, Architects and Engineers Grades. The Association has yet to respond.
The Social Work Assistants Branch of HKCCSA has resolved to launch a one-member-one-letter campaign to press the Administration for another review of the grade's pay scale and payment of the hardship allowance.
SCS has advised the EO Grade Association that he has accepted the review report, and that an AO will fill the Head of Grade post. Meanwhile, the Management Services Officers grade has submitted views on the review report. The matter is being considered by FB.
