Explanatory note

This order amends the Animals and Plants (Protection of

Endangered Species) (Exemption) Order so that

(a) the present exemptions relating to persons exporting,

importing or being in possession of or control of

personal effects are narrowed, and that a person will

require a licence under section 7 of the Ordinance in

relation to personal effects made from scheduled

Species I they were acquired outside nis country or

usual residence and are being brought into tha:

country; and

CHE exemptions from sections

and ♥ or the

Ordinance will no longer apply in relation to all

parts of Elephantidae Species (Elephants).
