23. Protection of members of Authority, etc.
(1) No member of the Authority or of any committee, acting in good faith, shall be personally liable for any act done or default made-
(a)
by or on behalf of the Authority; or
(b) by or on behalf of any committee,
in the performance or purported performance of the functions, or the exercise or purported exercise of the powers, imposed or conferred on the Authority under this Ordinance.
(2) The protection conferred under subsection (1) on members of the Authority or of a committee in respect of any act or default shall not in any way affect the liability of the Authority for that act or default.
24. Consequential and other amendments
(1) The provisions of the enactments specified in column 2 of Schedule 4 are amended in the manner set out in column 3.
(2) For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby declared that a notice under section 1(2) may, by reference to the item numbers adjacent to the enactments specified in column 2 of Schedule 4, appoint different days for the coming into operation of the amendments set out in column 3 of that Schedule opposite those enactments.
23.對醫管局成員等的保障
(1) 醫管局或任何委員會的成員如真誠地辦事,則對
(a) 醫管局或代表醫管局的任何人;或
(b) 該委員會或代表該委員會的任何人,
在執行或本意是執行根據本條例委予醫管局的職能,或行使或本意是行使根據本條例 賦予醫管局的權力時,所作出的作為或造成的錯失,無須承擔個人法律責任。
(2)第(1)款就任何作為或錯失賦予醫管局或委員會的成員的保障,不影響醫管局 對該作為或錯失須承擔的法律責任。
24. 相應及其他修訂
(1) 附表4第2欄所列出的成文法則條文,按第3欄開列的方式修訂。
(2) 為避免引起疑問,現宣布根據第1(2)條發出的公告,可藉提述附表4第2欄所 列成文法則旁的項目數目,而為該附表第3欄所列相對於該等成文法則的修訂,指定不 同的實施日期。
