Terms of Reference

Further to my (6) in this series, dated 11 October, 1989, I am writing to respond to the comments on the Terms of Reference of the Standing Committee and their application to ICAC set out in your above referenced letter.

This view, we understand, was endorsed by the Executive Council. The Standing Committee took this into account when agreeing to the Administration's request. We are satisfied that the ICAC is a disciplined service.
