(5) The matter broadcast may include advertising matter and the licensee may receive payment therefore and shall be entitled to fix such scale of charges therefore as he shall from time to time decide. The advertising matter originated at the transmitting station shall be limited to ten per cent in time of the total programmes broadcast in each day in the transmission of which such matter forms part. The licensee shall not broadcast advertising matter immediately before or immediately after or during or in association with any programme relayed from any broadcasting station except with the written permission of the broadcasting station concerned.

(6) Prior to the relay or re-broadcast from the transmitting station of matter received by means of the receiving station, the licensee shall broadcast an announcement of the source from which such matter is to be or has been (as the case may be) received by the receiving station and at the commencement and termination of any period during which only matter originated by the licensee is broadcast, the licensee shall broadcast an announcement to that effect.

(7) The licensee shall not intentionally use the receiving station or allow the receiving station to be used for the reception of matter other than broadcast messages and programmes.

If any other matter is unintentionally received by means of the receiving station the licensee shall not make known or allow to be made known its contents, its origin or destination, its existence or the fact of its receipt to any person (other than a duly authorized officer of the Government or a competent legal tribunal) and shall not reproduce, copy or make use of such matter or allow the same to be reproduced, copied or made use of. The licensee shall take such steps as are possible to prevent such matter being broadcast.

(8) In such manner and at such. intervals as the Commissioner may prescribe, the licensee shall submit to the Commissioner the programmes and all matter intended to be distributed together with such scripts thereof as the Commissioner may require.

(9) (i) The Commissioner may in his discretion require the licensee to refrain from broadcasting any specified matter except on such conditions, if any, as that officer may see fit to prescribe if the Commissioner considers it is in the best interest of the public so to do, and the licensee shall comply with every such requirement.

(ii) The licensee shall comply with such Codes of Practice as may be issued from time to time by the Commissioner relating to programme and advertising standards.
