This is an area of industrial decline and derriliction that is in the process of being re-developed by Swansea City Council for leisure, commercial and industrial use.
With some time to spare a short journey out to the Mumbles and then arcund Swansea was undertaken. The students were then escorted onto the train for London.
CONCLUSION
The students declared that the visit to Wales had fulfilled their objective of getting an understanding of local government. They also found the visit to be very enjoyable and they now knew something about Wales and how different it is from England.
